AMEC Paragon's process/facilities team employs experts in
process, chemical, petroleum, and mechanical engineering for
upstream oil and gas projects. Key areas of expertise include:
- Oil dehydration
- Produced water treating
- Gas production, treating and compression
Oil Dehydration
AMEC Paragon has solved oil treating problems in the Gulf
of Mexico, California, Indonesia, and the North Sea. In addition,
our engineers have written technical articles, design guidelines,
and software programs on oil treating and desalting and taught
these subjects in-house and to engineers at companies such
as Shell and BP.
Produced Water Treating
AMEC Paragon has designed water treating equipment for use
on Gulf of Mexico platforms, West Texas waterfloods, South
Louisiana marsh platforms, major offshore installations in
the Middle and Far East, and floating production units offshore
Egypt and China. Our unique capabilities and understanding
of produced water treating equipment, technology and processes
has led to our employment by many oil companies to aid support
some of the largest water treating projects in the world.
Gas Production, Treating and Compression
Most of the production facilities designed by AMEC Paragon
include gas production, treating or compression systems. Our
expertise encompasses field production, gathering, treating,
compression, product transport, and gas reinjection.
Before joining AMEC Paragon, many of our personnel gained
valuable experience working as owners and operators of gas
processing and equipment fabrication facilities or serving
as employees of engineering and construction firms, original
equipment manufacturers or gas producing, processing and transportation
companies. |
